The simultaneous Karpov (II)
Bonaerense Executive Headquarters: Governor Scioli and former world champion Anatoly Karpov. With 25 boards faced the former world champion, this past Saturday August 7 at the Chess Club Villa Martelli, of which three were Quilmes.
From left to right: Gonzalo and Agustina MartÃnez Denegri, Juan Ostaszewsky, Anatoly Karpov and Julio Benedetti. All three lost, but they played nice games. One of which is presented below. Note that the "bold" Gonzalo Martinez de Negri, sacrificed two pawns and a rook, endangering the King of Karpov, who faced observed concentration and concern that movement. And while former world champion fought back perfect, had to suffer for a long time, so much to ask the organizers: "The ELO is this guy?"

Moreover, the former champion visited the House of Government of the Province of Buenos Aires and there was present the NGO Lasker, repreentada by Javier MartÃnez and some of our players.
