Emanuel Lasker: The NGO, THE ARGENTINE CLUB AND THE EMBASSY OF GERMANY IN THE TRIBUTE

In 2010 marks the centenary of the visit of former Mudial Chess Champion, Emanuel Lasker of Germany to our Country. Especially

hired by the Club Argentino de Ajedrez, Lasker visited Argentina and furthermore to make exhibitions of simultaneous games, I give some lectures and taught at that institution.

For this reason, our NGO Emanuel Lasker, together with the German Embassy and Argentine Chess Club organized a tribute act this chess hero of all time.

The computerized coordination event was in charge of vice president of the NGO Lasker Paul Ricciardi.

This September 30th at the headquarters of the Club Argentino, the ceremony is carried out with the following schedule of activities:

  • intonation of the national anthems of Germany and Argentina.
  • words of Mrs Ambassador of the Republic of Germany Countess Donata Grafin Finckestein

  • Remarks by the President of the NGO, Dr Emanuel Lasker Julia Elena Marquez
  • Item Amsterdam 1889 Lasker v. Bauer and brief biography of the honoree by the FIDE Master Damien Rappa.
  • heading Damian Rappa says Lasker vs Bauer
  • Reason for visit of Dr Lasker to CAA by prof. Daniel Alpern
  • photographic exhibition on the honoree and Museum Lasker in Berlin.
  • Signature of an agreement between the NGO and Lasker Chess Club Argentino mutual cooperation. Among other things, the agreement pattern as the players of the NGO can, to number 10 for tournament play gratuitamnete the semi-fast of the Tournament Club and thought will have a 50% discount.   • NGOs launch in 2011 Lasker Cup. This event will be for the Under 8 to Under 18, teams of 6 players and giving out prizes such as a PC, the champion among other things. The Embassy Teutonic pledged to support economically the event.
