Every day at 1200 a new question about the future of photography you involved?

Well, in BlankPaper School have taken over from FOAM and we decided to launch the same questions to the Hispanic community. So every day at 24:00 (time English) launch Through a new question our social networks and Facebook Twitter .

Metathione Side Effects

Arequipa

(*) Revised version of the original 2007 diariosdeunabicicleta.blogspot.es , some data may not be current.

Arequipa is the second largest city in Peru size. Declared by UNESCO cultural heritage of mankind, and commonly called "white city" due to the use of ashlar volcanic stone from the area in many of the buildings in the city itself. Their houses are protected at all times by majestic volcanoes, the Chachani (6057 mts), Misti (5825 m) and Pichu Pichu (5,510 m).

Its historic center is unique in Peru because in it you can find splendid colonial houses and buildings of English and Italian Baroque. The churches in the city center are also beautiful, very well crafted decorations.

I leave you with a sample of the city

Accommodation:

Accommodation "La posada del cacique"
Price: 15 soles (3 euros and a half)
No breakfast but the hostel is in a central location. Also people from the hostel is very nice.

Where to eat: get away at all costs from the main square, where locals are more expensive, a few blocks down prices considerably. One option is to go to cooking school in Arequipa, where they serve meals of the day really cheap, yes, you can not choose the dishes, but is that the menu price was 1 or 2 euros.

Cathedral

is a majestic and strange. Among the curiosities of the cathedral is the facade occupies the entire length of the main square, a cathedral to be much wider than long. One of the best views of the city and the cathedral is in the restaurants of the square, go upstairs, grab a beer and watch the sunset is priceless.

main square

stately First, note that at the time the English empire was a really important city.

Walking ...

But what really pays off in this city is lost in its streets, admiring the colonial architecture of its more than 500 old houses, churches, monuments and people.

... walk ...

and enter the local shops or see the colorful Andalusian patios

. .. and walk.

Sticking by ancient alleys of white chairs.

Or see people lugging the cargo craft

COUN Or maybe find a picturesque cop who has been honored four times as the best police in Peru. Is now retired and works by controlling the traffic to the convent of Santa Catalina .

Or see a band playing in the middle of a square.

Volcanoes
:

Overlooking the valley are the three volcanoes in the countryside. In the picture you can see the Chachani . In many of the volcanoes in the area have found the time human sacrifices of the Incas. The most famous is the sacrifice of the child "Juanita" in the volcano's summit Ampato. In theory were made to appease the gods, and to perform the ritual the Incas had to climb the volcano and sacrifice a child. At that time the effort was Herculean, without mountaineering equipment, oxygen, only with its convictions that the sacrifice was for the community, to the girl and boy were convinced they would become gods, for them it was a privilege.

Convento de la Recoleta

Along with the convent of Santa Catalina , which I could not visit the high price entry, one of the largest religious attractions is the convent of La Recoleta a. Its cloisters are beautiful, but for me it is the main attraction.

Inside are several museums attest to the passage of religious institutions in Peru. For me, the Amazon and pre-Columbian museum are the most interesting.

The library dates from 1926 and has about 20,000 volumes, many from the sixteenth century, with an incalculable value for the country.

Ancient civilizations

The truth is that in Peru is not very complicated feel Indiana Jones or Lara Croft , ancient cultures, undiscovered treasures, sacrifices to the gods ... between cultures that can be studied in this area include the Chimu, Moche, Inca, Chancay Churajón and really interesting. To show cranial deformation. In America was a widespread custom make deformations of skulls with religious, social rank or simply practical (bone strengthening). In the picture you can see an Inca skull deformations. And how did this? from children were placed in the head tables cloth tightly fixed to the skull, so the head is adapted to the shape of the tablet. If the photo is strong there is some deformation much more striking, as two-headed skulls.

Fiesta

Leaving party to know the night Arequipa, and the truth is that it did not disappoint. The truth is that the group that we could not be more varied: Wales, Belgium, Germany, Colombia, Peru ... It is curious that in the disk foreign entry and the Peruvians were paying paid 10 soles (2.5 euros). The truth is that for better or for worse always have the image in your head that you gringo.

Modest Formal Dresses

Once my mom told me something that stuck with me to fire:
'Do not do unto others what you do not want them to do to you'.

No wonder I have sex.

Biffy Clyro Mountains Sheet Music

Until it happens to you.

You think you have it under control. A feeling that you have controlled. And of course, that makes you feel good. You're a super-man. There is nothing to harm you. There is no such kryptonite that makes you weak, if all is well.
But there is something that will generate a pressure in the chest. Want to scream, you want to whore, you want to go away. What insusceptibility happened to how well you came wearing? Was not only were paveando? And I went. You did not notice and I passed. How? If you had everything under control. It was just a feeling. You had done a thousand times before and always came you worked. Is it different then? No way. It's just a woman. You do not have a perfect body. Yes, but it re Macanudo. I understand you, but you had pretty mines. Sympathetic as she is not more beautiful. Sure, but with it you can talk and laugh about anything. Do not you break a little balls at the beginning? Yes, but I loved it. What happened
super-man?

You do not know. But hopefully that will happen.

Day 20 Cervical Mucous

Turkey, a really big country in which the contrasts between the eastern and western are enormous. During 2010 I was lucky to spend a couple of weeks in Turkey, so I leave my experiences in the country.

Istanbul. The ancient Constantinople , city halfway between Europe and Asia. His legacy has nothing to envy to Rome. 7 days in the city led to a lot, so if you want to see the famous mosques, cisterns, aqueducts, markets, palaces or simply how people live there this is your post, I think one of the most complete I've done so date. You'll also find practical information.

Bosphorus. Can not be understood without the Bosphorus Istanbul , so visit this post is a must.

Ephesus. It is said that the best Greek ruins are Turkey, not Greece . Ephesus is one of the best preserved classical cities in the world. If you want to transport you to another time ...

Pamukkale-Hierapolis. One of the most famous of Turkey , baths cotton clouds that appear next to an ancient Roman city. The space has been recovered, and that until very recently had hotels here and we are fools to heritage.

Curiosities. Some curious stories of our journey through the country, a bit of light reading, not everything is going to be culture and history.

A country that until recently was largely unknown. With the fall of the Iron Curtain and his approach to the European community has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe . And no wonder. Good prices, beautiful cities, castles, history, music, beer ... many are the attractions of this country.

Prague. One of the most beautiful cities in Europe , no doubt. But aside from its undoubted beauty is also a city with a lot of history. I invite you to get into this post to find its streets and buildings, cemeteries and neighborhoods communists.

Karlstejn. Near to Prague is an impressive castle, which if you have time to visit is worthwhile. And if you do not always have this post.

Curiosities. Did you know that the Czechs are the world's citizens who drink more beer per capita? go here, you'll find this and other stories.

UK

If any country in the world to resemble a colonial empire to me comes to mind UK. While it is true that the country in some ways is very traditional in others it is very open to new trends. A country can be proud of the monarchy and the Sex Pistols well worth a visit. And in the center of attention, London, one of the world's most influential cities in all directions, three times I've been in the city, and I still do not get tired.

London 2008. This visit was a great guide, Adam, a Colombian who was working in the city. Here you will find information on the Tower bridge, The London Eye, Big Ben, the Tower of London, the Cathedral of Saint Paul ... and how to move and see things for as little money as possible.

London 2010 . Adam treated us so well that two years later repeated the visit. I would say that the visit was even more tourism, and the days they did not are common in these parts, so that in this post you'll find some of the best photos I've taken on a city trip. And while information on how to visit the city without paying a euro phone.

Książki Top 100

Italy is one of the most attractive countries in Europe to visit. In addition to its mild climate and delicious cuisine meets one of the richest cultures worldwide. Italy is synonymous with history, and for better or for worse is something we must fight daily. In Italy all parts of its geography has something to offer, so it's hard to pick.

Rome. Which at one time was considered the capital of the world remains steadily in the XXI century. Proud of its past, but without giving up a better future. Its streets are not the cleanest in Europe , and workers are not as efficient as a Swiss or German, but the city is full magic. It has many monuments that it is impossible to visit on a weekend, in fact it is forbidden to make new subway routes, as each excavation is finding archaeological remains. In this post you'll find plenty of photos and practical information of the city.

Venice. The city of a thousand channels. Some say it is the most romantic city in the world, others stink. I guess everyone has their part right. A unique city in the world.

Venice, around . Murano, Burano, ... Sant Erasmo d leave the city Venice is also a pleasure for the senses. Nearby there are many things worth seeing and doing.

Venice curiosities. A few anecdotes from my time in the city.

Verona. City Romeo and Juliet , but the city also has other things, as one of the best preserved amphitheaters in the world.

Sardinia, Alghero . An Italian city where one can still speak Catalan, or something. Sardinia we sound like sun and beaches, unfortunately in our case it was not, but nevertheless we enjoyed.

Sardinia, Capo Cacia, Bosa, Castelsardo . Sardinia is attractive from north to south, and too big to do it in a weekend, so we focus on the northwest of the island, its beautiful coasts and their peoples threatening medieval castles.
